Half asleep, half awake
The wind roared at her skin
Yes we've all been there
You've let it pass
She couldn't, what for?
The wind roared at her skin
Tearing the wounds farther apart
She fights back the betrayal
Betrayal welling up in her eyes.
Would he turn back to see,
As the screams peirce through his skin?
Would he even blink,
When her tears drop into his eyes?
When all is said and done
Would her tears even matter?
So when it rains downon her
She lets herself bleed
The rain washes it off
Deeper than her cuts it seeps
Cleanses hee soul,
Letting nothing but her heart remain
She has made her choice
A choice to be HAPPY
Betrayal welling up in her eyes.
Would he turn back to see,
As the screams peirce through his skin?
Would he even blink,
When her tears drop into his eyes?
When all is said and done
Would her tears even matter?
So when it rains downon her
She lets herself bleed
The rain washes it off
Deeper than her cuts it seeps
Cleanses hee soul,
Letting nothing but her heart remain
She has made her choice
A choice to be HAPPY
